This year’s Christmas present to our employees and customers is a contribution to the organization Engineers Without Borders (http://www.ewb-swe.org/). We are sponsoring a school in Tanzania with high-quality LED lamps which will work in an efficient way with the sun-power system installed. The sponsorship also contributes to the establishment of purchase and distribution channels of this kind of high-quality lamps to reach not only this school but other users with similar needs. The sponsorship of Engineers Without Borders aligns with the overall Solvina mission to improve life conditions, focusing on energy and power supply, for people in the world. Solvinabesök på HET-dagen hos Luleå Tekniska Universitet
Solvinas samarbete med högskolorna har fortsatt med ett på besök hos LTU, Luleå Tekniska Universitet under HET-dagen! HET står för Hållbar energiteknik och dagen arrangeras för att ge sistaårsstudenterna möjlighet att presentera projekt de utfört. Tanken är också att inspirera studenter genom att bjuda in alumner. Solvina deltog genom Eskil Svensson som är HET-alumn och som numera är Solvinaanställd efter att ha gjorde sitt exjobb hos oss.

Solvina brinner för reglerteknik. Den 4-6 februari kör vi kursen ”Praktisk reglerteknik för processindustrin” för åttonde gången! Anmäl dig på vår hemsida. Stefan Schleeh new manager for BU Dynamics & Control
Mr. Stefan Schleeh has been appointed new manager for Solvina AB’s business area Dynamics & Control. He has assumed responsibilities since December 1st and has succeed Mr. Magnus Lenasson who has moved on into the nuclear decommissioning business at Vattenfall. “Stefan will continue to develop Dynamics & Control business area, and his ability to create relationships with both employees and customers will strengthen Solvina in the future. Stefan has already shown his capacity as a salesman, manager and consult. Warm welcome to the eternal development journey with Solvina!” says Ulla-Karin Wendt, Managing Director of Solvina AB.
Jobba med Engineering Management? – ett exempel från ESS
Är du en strukturerad och nyfiken ”ny-exad” eller erfaren ingenjör (M.Sc.) som letar nya utmaningar? Solvina söker just nu fler konsulter till vårt affärsområde Engineering Management! Vi supportar nu bland annat European Spallation Source (ESS) i Lund. Pontus Ryd, en av grundarna till Solvina (till vänster), är en av dem i affärsområde EM som lagt grunden till övergripande ledningssystem för ESS. Just nu är det utveckling och implementering av metoder för konfigurationsstyrning och utveckling av anläggningen som är i fokus. Arbetet leds av Frans Hermodsson från ESS (mitten).
