Husum engagerar Solvina för verifiering av nätkoder & ö-driftfunktion
Solvina har fått förtroendet av Metsä Board Husum att genomföra verifierande simuleringar och prov av deras nya mottryckturbin enligt kraven i nätkoden RfG, (EU) 2016/631 och föreskriften EiFS2018:2, inför drifttagning. Dessutom har Metsä Board Husum valt att ta hjälp av Solvina med att optimera anläggningens förmåga att hantera ödrift, som ett sätt att att maximera anläggningens tålighet mot störningar i elnätet, t ex vid förebådande åska. Sedan 2016 och införandet av RfG tillämpas nätkoderna på alla typer av elproducerande anläggningar, även industrier med egen elproduktion. Industrin var tidigare undantagen. Omfattande modellering, överensstämmelsesimuleringar och provning ska göras för att visa på uppfyllande av prestandakraven.
Master thesis: Open application
Thesis Description: Solvina encourages master students within power or energy systems, automation, signals and systems, process control, or similar to submit their own proposals for thesis work to us. The scope of the thesis will then be decided together with the students. Solvina is offering: An exciting thesis work performed in a highly competent environment with expert areas such as electric power engineering, process and control engineering, and engineering management. Happy Diwali!
Solvina is celebrating Diwali with all our customers in India, and also having reached the milestone of 100 tested power generating units in India during the last year. The test activities have taken us all over the amazing country and an internal “power-tester competition” has started. The test project is a part of Regulators and System Operators long term work of increasing reliability and stability of the Indian power grid. Another 100 tests are to be performed during the year to come. Solvina wishes to thank POSOCO for coordination and all Generator Owners for the confidence in our services.
Course at Chalmers – A success!
In August Solvina gave the course Power System Stability at Chalmers University of Technology. We are happy and proud that the course turned out to be a hit for our participants from Sweden, Italy, Germany, Finland and Malaysia. “Bengt was very clear during his lectures. He is extremely prepared on the topics he presented during the course. It was a pleasure to attend!” Thank you Pozzi Fabio, CESI, for that comment and thank you and all other participants for attending the course! The Power System Stability course is aimed at grid operators, network & system planners from the transmission industry, and engineers and management in power generation industries. Course participants will enhance their understanding of theory and practice of system stability & control, and mitigation of system oscillations after contingencies. Höstens kurs i reglerteknik
Snart ges återigen "Praktisk reglerteknik för processindustrin". Vi har förstått att kursen i samarbetet med Dr. Krister Forsman upplevs som ett väloljat maskineri med högt tempo. I år tänkte vi utvärdera om tempot kan upplevas ännu mer behaglig utspritt på 3 och en halv dag istället för enbart 3.
